The Legend of the GOAT
The brainchild of Rashid Ahmad, touchtennis began life on the outskirts of London, during the balmy summer of 2002.

Initially devised as a back-garden game to play with his young daughter, Rashid soon became so adept at dishing out daily thrashings, it seemed only natural to grant himself the title of Greatest Of All Time. This period of unrelenting global dominance finally put the years of torrid defeats at his tennis club behind him, and he basked in his status as a bona fide racquet sport World Number One.

Yet, like all true champions, he wondered if even greater opponents lay ahead. Eventually, he began sharing the game with a wider talent pool and tested himself against the toughest competitors he could find – at least some of whom were now over the age of five.

20 grand slam victories and 238 consecutive weeks at no. 1 later, Rashid finally succumbed to defeat. With rumours of his decline starting to spread, the world held its breath to see how he would respond. As a principled man of action and the sole owner of the website login details, he chose to adjust the results and put himself back on top.
Alas, it was futile attempt and his personal reputation soon lay in tatters. But the game of touchtennis was always bigger than one man’s vanity and its popularity continued to grow and grow. Now it is played around the world by a cult of racquet-wielding brothers and sisters bound to the game’s addictive simplicity and a desire to create records that even Rashid can no longer dispute.
Which means the search for the very greatest GOAT goes on. And now you have the ability to become a member, we’re starting to wonder… is it you?
