We are pleased to announce that the Port Huron Branch of the NAACP will celebrate its 63rd Annual Freedom Fund Gala. Our theme for this year’s Gala is ” Freedom Forward… Ensuring Justice and Equity for Future Generations.

This premier fundraising event allows us to invite stakeholders to learn about the organization, celebrate our successes, honor award recipients, and highlight our 21st Century Civil Rights agenda.

The Gala will take place on October 21st at the Blue Water Convention Center, 800 Harker St, Port Huron, MI 48060. The networking reception will occur at 5:30 pm, and dinner and program will start at 6:15 pm.

The NAACP has always been known for working around advocacy for minorities based on our Game Changers for the 21st century: Economic Sustainability, Education, Health, Public Safety/Criminal Justice, and Voting Rights/Political Representation

We are highly honored to be in our 101st year of operation. In 101 years much progress has been made. However, we still have a long way to go until we achieve our goal of ending race-based discrimination and ensuring the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights for African Americans and all of the other minority groups who have historically been disenfranchised.
