Since 1917, the Blue Water area Chamber has promoted a pro-business climate by offering benefits and services to its members. The Chamber staff and board of directors partner with our membership to create a sustainable business climate that acts as a catalyst for economic prosperity, advancement of education, and great quality of life.
The Chamber consists of staff, volunteers and a board of directors all working together to ensure success for the Chamber and its members. Striving to build a better community through staff and volunteer leadership.
Recognition
Members are recognized in the Chamber newsletter, at ribbon cutting ceremonies, as the member of the month, anniversary celebrations, in the business guide, at events and on our website.
Gain valuable contacts and referrals
The Chamber responds to thousands of business recommendation inquiries every year from people calling the Chamber, visiting the area, and relocating to the area. Chamber members are always referred first to enhance member outreach. Join a networking group and use the Chamber Facebook referral page to promote your business.
Participate and Engage
The Chamber continues to look for opportunities for our members to be engaged and interact with other businesses. In 2017 we had over 100 opportunities for our members to engage and grow their business. A few of the Chamber opportunities include the Business Expo, Golf Outing, New Member Luncheons, Business After 5, and Networking groups. Many opportunities to meet people, showcase your business and have fun!
Business Branding
Increase your business visibility by displaying your business information at the Chamber office, use the free resources the Chamber has available to promote your business products and services. Market your business brand by being a sponsor at the numerous events the Chamber offers to its membership.

Professional Development
The Chamber offers its members the opportunity to participate in monthly Lunch and Learns, monthly Breakfast Briefs, to hear from local business leaders through the Business Leaders Series, and to hear from national leaders through the Leadercast program.
Advocacy
The Chamber engages with local, state and federal officials to give members access to their office, to promote policies that would support business growth and keep our membership informed of the issues facing our community. The Chamber also hosts several advocacy events such as the St. Clair County Address, Capitol Talks, Eggs and Issues Legislator Breakfast and Power 4 Lunch Series, to give our members and opportunity to engage face to face with their elected officials.
